The Stiff Dylans and sushi..

Tiring day…

8.30 am- Left home.

9.15am- Reach hospital, met Farhah. Had breakfast at Delifrance.

10am to 12.30pm- Blood transfusion seminar.

12.30pm to 1.30pm- Hang out in the ward, disturbing my busy colleagues, while waiting for Simin.

1.30pm- Met Simin at Delifrance in hospital. Off we went to PS. I wanted to eat Ashtons’, got craving for steak.. Lol. But was stuck at PS, can’t walk over to The Cathay..

2.30pm to 7.15pm- Had steak at Ashtons’ and  Ben&Jerry ice-cream. Feel so bloated.
Decided to catch a movie, but couldn’t decide between “the day the earth stood still” or ” angus, thongs and perfect snogging”…
Wanted to have a good laugh, so………… Angus, thongs and perfect snogging!!!!!

This movie is directed by the same director of  “bride and prejudice” and “bend it like beckham”… All my favorites. Great movies.. Encouraging all friends to go watch!!! Georgia is like so real. A real teenage girl exploring relationships, family and sorts… When she did something embarassing, I felt myself blushing in the cinema too.

hmmm… maybe a long time ago, I also did embarassing things before.

Back to my day. I also booked myself for massage on tuesday. LOL. It is high time I pampered myself a little. Looking forward to it.

7.15pm to 8pm- Me time. Simin went off for a birthday party.(Sidetrack: so many birthday parties these days.) I wandered around PS and bought myself 2 tops and a sub for my mum’s supper.

8pm to 10.30pm- Met up with Neo, lil princess and her group of friends(too long a list la). Had dinner at this sushi place in The Cathay (AGAIN!!). chit chat, take photos….. Then I felt really fatigue, so I went off.

11.15pm- Reached home. Was on the phone with Guan Yi. Found my door was bolted by my father.. Lucky my brother was till awake to open the door for me. Thank God!

Seriously miss GY a lot. Since she was back from India, nv really catch up with her. Shall do so when I go out with her next week. And all of us is going to watch Snow White!!!! Yea~

Time now: 1.25am (14/12/08) 4 more days to bonus. very Very tired… Zzzzzzzzz..

Why? I have been working all sundays… E shift somemore. Wa lao! What is wrong with the schedule?????

I am going to make full use of my 2 days off. Shopping… Makan…  Let’s go!! Haha.

Actually there is no one to go out with me. Sobx. I am choosy about my friends. Heex!

Met up with pn, wz, ky, neo, neo’s sis and Uncle william. Went to eat Ayam Penyek and watch RushHour 3. We bought a small small cake for ky, cus it is his birthday on 20th august.

I know it is a little early. But he is having exam on his birthday. Anyway,

RushHour 3 is not nice loh. I fell asleep towards the end. The action and comedy is there but no storyline. I hate movies with no storylines. Not worth my $9.50.

Wont advise any of my friends to watch it.

Too blinded with complaining recently and forgotten some of the more happy things in my life.

Remember the IV drugs exam I was having and I only studied for 7 hours?? The good news is I PASS.

And the 2nd exam I was having and I told everyone that I am going to flunk it?

Muhaha. I TOP the class. Super never expect it la. I really didnt even study, just all based on the little knowledge I have. The night before the exam, I was happily playing game at night.

Somemore I was on E shift. And my whole afternoon was uber busy.

Ok! I am going to stop, if not people will start talking before my back. I can imagine.

“That girl think she so clever, is it? I think is her luck la.”

“Who she thinks she is? I think I study harder than her loh.”

Sigh. These people are just jealous of me. Dont be, ok?

I was laughing throughout the show. Except those touching/heart breaking parts la.

The show is really M18 la. Kids shouldn’t watch it, so much titties!!!!  Lols. And a whole lot of butts…

Nonetheless, I love the show!!!! The plot is very good except I thought Seth Rogen was a bit too gross in the movie. Katherine Heigl look totally great in the show.

The childbirth scene was as real as it can get. Umbilical cord, suctioning… etc… I just love the show too much la.

Did I say I love the childbirth scene? OMG… I wanna have my own babies.

Anyway for those who are interested, my life has been great recently. Except for this stupid exam that I am having tml, which I prepare to flunk. Cus I can’t even be bothered study.

Being good in theory doesnt really prove you can perform in the ward. So what people think you are a walking enclycopedia???

I really HATE u, nipple man!!!!! You think u are some fucking doctor, you are just a freaking nurse like us!!!!!! Only OLDER and more work experience. That make you cocky, huh?

Shit! My language is getting to be like those in Knocked up. Muhaha!

Recently I was chatting with someone, and I realised what kind of happen in the past one month. I was like kind of shock. Didn’t know things turned out that way. And I know who is the culprit and my peeps told me to stop listening to her nonsense. And avoid her too.

I thought she was kind of FON too. So persistent to make you listen to her, I truly tried my super best to avoid. But I cant escape from her evil clutches!!!! HELP ME, PLS……

This is my illness now. PWB = Pre Working Blues. Starting work in around 2 weeks time. Wow! My holiday is 4 weeks gone.

Done nothing much during this 4 weeks. Pre employment check-up. Collect uniform. Met up with friends. Sleep. Crapping. Shopping. Watching movies.

Been feeling very lethargic these few days. The reason is unknown. My guess is PWB. Lolx.

I think I always give myself stress. I kept thinking what if I cant do the job well. Oh gosh! You know. You see a lot of nurses so outstanding leh. Then… I am like so knowledgeless. I know pple would say like… all these come with yrs of experience. But some nurse managers tend to give lots of pressure, which I sometimes really cant take it.

Gonna watch POTC: At World’s End on monday again. Haha! Cus I wanna watch the part after the rolling of the credits. The part I read is about Will Turner & Elizabeth Swann meeting again after ten years. Haix. Will Turner wants to save his dad. In order to save his dad, he has to become the captain of The Flying Dutchman and he can only go on shore once every ten years.

Will Turner & Elizabeth Swann fate is worse than Cowherd and Weaving maid.  They still can meet every once a year.

I have really nothing interesting to blog about recently. Holidays to me is like sleeping and sleeping and more sleeping. And my mensus cramps is killing me now!!!

Just went orchard with my mum yesterday, but we cut short our trip. Due to my killer mensus cramps lah. For the first time, I totally have no mood to shop or try on clothes loh. Poor me…..

Went to do a exchange on my uniform today, manage to change without a hitch. Lucky the auntie was not very fierce. I am going on a diet. I look so fat in my pants….. Oh dear…. Why are my thighs so big???

I got a big bruise from blood taking for my check-up on monday. On my right arm. Pain, ok? That auntie that took my blood was like kind of rough loh. wa lau… first time got bruise loh.

And the staff kept asking if I am pregnant…. Or if there is any chance that I am pregnant. Kaox. For 6 to 7 times loh. No…I think she asked 10 times!!!!!!!!!

Do I look like I am married????? Pls loh,I dont even have a boyfriend. Gosh, Do I look pregnant???

Collected my green uniform today. Big thanks to Ms Piggyneo who accompany me there.

Got to go again next week, I cant wear the pants i have collected. Shitx. Who ask me to eat so much??? Lolx. It is just that the size of trying piece and the size u get is so different. The trying piece has been stretched to the limit by people fatter than me. Muhaha!! So it was loose when I tried it on.

The conclusion is: I didnt over eat. Sigh…. plan was to go cycling at ECP yesterday, but the weather doesnt allow it. Cus it rain…. bla… bla…

I was so angry today, cus Ms Piggyneo gets to watch Pirates of the Carribean FOC!!!!!!! And she ask me along, but I have to pay the ticket myself. Wa lao!!!!

Some organisation is going to bribe Ms Piggyneo to join them, hence the free ticket. Hmph. I am so angry now !!! When Ms Piggyneo ask them if her friend (which is me) can come along. They said Yes first, but when they heard that I am already a empolyee of that organisation. Guess what they said.

They said: Of course, your friend can come along, but she need to pay for the movie ticket herself.

OMG!!!!!!!!! They are so poor that they cant afford another ticket. I hate them!!! They just dont wanna pay another $6.50. Sobx

Four more days….

I need a holiday badly!! Super stressed up with my current posting. I am happy but also sad at times. I think my hormones are going amok. 

I can cry over little things. After a while, I will be laughing. Oh no! Am I getting bipolar??

To earn a salary which is not consider much, is really hard work. These are the following reasons why it is hard work:

1. Workplace politics.
2. Learning how to be on good terms with everyone.
3. Ignoring people who are not nice and sarcastic. Smile at them
4. Learning to turn a blind eye to people you know that doesnt like you.
5. Trying to perform well.
6. Coordinating patient care. (they can be difficult at times)

And the list goes on… Too much to be listed down. As I am someone who is passive to mingle with people. Workplace politics is really a chore for me. I may be curt and rude at times without knowing it. Or I can take people’s comments too hard.

I know all these are bad points. I should change. I am already trying my best to mingle with people. Difficult. I am someone who really take time to warm up to someone. Esp when that person is someone who is unapproachable. Sometimes I look too quiet that people really think I dont talk. Lolx!

I am quite talkative. Really.

Anyway there is someone I really hate in the ward. I am proud of myself today. I manage to ignore her comment today. She is really rude and sarcastic. U think u are so great? Always go around finding other people mistakes.

What can we do if the pt is violent? And put his legs out of the bedrails the minute we put his legs back into the bed???? We are not his private care nurse who can be by his side every min loh. U think we are so free to adjust his position every min ar??? Why not u stay there?

Anyway I wanted to remind her not to call me student. I am not your student. Is that ok with you?

Seriously I hate her guts.

P.S. I am going to ignore all the idiotic people!!!!!!!!
