Miss Woo actually told me I must blog about this funny story. So here I am doing it.

That guy- I don’t know which word best describes him. So maybe, the”silly guy”. After reading the story and u have suggestions for a name for this guy. Do let me know. Thank you.

I was shopping around for a laptop for the past few months. Finally I found my love.. Hahaha.

It is within my budget and of cus I bought the one in pink. The specs were good as well.. For me.

I went to buigs post night on thursday and was browsing around in the shop. The shop was quite empty, one of the sales personnel approached me and offer help. He was of cus that silly* guy. I had actually quite decided to buy this laptop so I just enquired about some details. He went on to explain about other laptops and their functions, and even showed me the graphic and sound differences. However, I didn’t change my mind and told him I will go ahead with the purchase.

He then went to get the laptop for me, but… someone already bought the last one!!!!! He actually told me to wait for an hour while he go to wisma to collect a new laptop for me, but I couldn’t wait. I WANT TO SLEEP!!!! Gosh.. In the end, I left my number with the guy. He said he will call me when the laptop is available. Finally, I went home to sleep after my night shift.

So tired.. I have not slept for nearly 24hrs tt day. I fell asleep the moment I laid down. I woke up on and off through out the night. Even watched some tv. And saw zihui on tv, more on that next time.

Then I was awaken by my phone ringing, the time was 12.42pm. I couldn’t quite remember the details but was told that my laptop was ready for collection. Then I mumbled a okay and went back to sleep. After a while, I decided to call Miss Woo,my chat with her ended abruptly yesterday due to my groggy state.

Then we decided to pop to buigs for some dessert and buy my laptop. To cut my story real short. After our shopping, dinner and nonsense. We went to the shop.

The silly* guy was with another customer, so I stood around to wait for him.. When I caught his eye, I pointed to the laptop of cus. And he asked his colleague to attend to me. In my mind, I thought he was busy. So I told his colleague the laptop I want.

Then 2 mins later, I received a call from the shop I was standing in…. I picked it up and say: I am in your shop to the silly* guy colleague.. Haha!! I presume the silly* guy actually ask his colleague to call me to see whether I still want the laptop. This colleague of him didn’t even inform him of this and wanted to earn his comission!!!

This is really a dog-eat-dog world!!!!

After 15 mins later, when I was waiting for the laptop to set up. The silly* guy came over and ask his colleague: “Hey! What did my customer say?”

Before the colleague could answer, I told the silly* guy: “Hello! I am that customer.”

His face totally changed, with his mouth totally ajar!!! “Oh! So, you are Xin Yi?”

“Yes, I am. You could not recognize me?” (he still looked he was in a state of shock.)

“You look very different from yesterday. Couldn’t recognize you.”

“Oh, sorry to wake you up this morning. My colleague told me you were still sleeping”

I didn’t know how different I looked. Lacked of sleep and fully awake?? And yes I clipped my hair up on one of the days. Hmmm… is it really so different till he couldn’t recognise?

It was so funny and fuming at the same time. Funny, he couldn’t recognise me. Fuming, he lost his commission!!

Whatever it is, this incident is indeed very funny that I have to blog so I can remember in the future…

Tiring day…

8.30 am- Left home.

9.15am- Reach hospital, met Farhah. Had breakfast at Delifrance.

10am to 12.30pm- Blood transfusion seminar.

12.30pm to 1.30pm- Hang out in the ward, disturbing my busy colleagues, while waiting for Simin.

1.30pm- Met Simin at Delifrance in hospital. Off we went to PS. I wanted to eat Ashtons’, got craving for steak.. Lol. But was stuck at PS, can’t walk over to The Cathay..

2.30pm to 7.15pm- Had steak at Ashtons’ and  Ben&Jerry ice-cream. Feel so bloated.
Decided to catch a movie, but couldn’t decide between “the day the earth stood still” or ” angus, thongs and perfect snogging”…
Wanted to have a good laugh, so………… Angus, thongs and perfect snogging!!!!!

This movie is directed by the same director of  “bride and prejudice” and “bend it like beckham”… All my favorites. Great movies.. Encouraging all friends to go watch!!! Georgia is like so real. A real teenage girl exploring relationships, family and sorts… When she did something embarassing, I felt myself blushing in the cinema too.

hmmm… maybe a long time ago, I also did embarassing things before.

Back to my day. I also booked myself for massage on tuesday. LOL. It is high time I pampered myself a little. Looking forward to it.

7.15pm to 8pm- Me time. Simin went off for a birthday party.(Sidetrack: so many birthday parties these days.) I wandered around PS and bought myself 2 tops and a sub for my mum’s supper.

8pm to 10.30pm- Met up with Neo, lil princess and her group of friends(too long a list la). Had dinner at this sushi place in The Cathay (AGAIN!!). chit chat, take photos….. Then I felt really fatigue, so I went off.

11.15pm- Reached home. Was on the phone with Guan Yi. Found my door was bolted by my father.. Lucky my brother was till awake to open the door for me. Thank God!

Seriously miss GY a lot. Since she was back from India, nv really catch up with her. Shall do so when I go out with her next week. And all of us is going to watch Snow White!!!! Yea~

Time now: 1.25am (14/12/08) 4 more days to bonus. very Very tired… Zzzzzzzzz..

How to eat sushi???

On 1/2 day training leave yesterday.. My course was until 1 pm. From 2pm, I loitered in the ward till 5pm.

Lol.. Of course, i help out lah.. Then I left the ward at 5.10pm..

Something wrong with me ar, recording the time. Anyway something is really wrong with me these days and I can’t really figure out what. So, go figure..

After, went for dinner with Guan Yi at city hall.. We went Jap food and drank her favourite macha and chatted for a very long time. About work, friends, nonsense… encouraging each other.. bla… bla… bla… And of cus, about my dearest left ankle. There are just some things in life we have to bear with and live with. Weird things happen to us and we can only hope it will go away soon.

My dearest left ankle had decided to protest to me 1 month ago in HK. Pain, swelling, refusal to move. Totally had difficulty walking while I was in HK. Up until now, there is still some swelling and I tried not to walk so much except during working hours. As all know, my job needs me to stand and walk a lot.

Oh and I went to see a couple of doctors when I had a lot of pain. There was this particular polyclinic doctor who was totally crude and unsympathetic. He has really “good” manners. I told him that my job requires me to stand and walk a lot, leaving out the fact that I am a nurse. Guess what he tell me?

“I can give u a lot of MCs but that won’t help u. If you are so concerned about ur health, you should go speak to your supervisor or do something about your job.”

Thanks. Of cus I know it. You think I come to see you for fun is it? And when I tell him I got swelling, he didn’t even examine or what.. He just told me he don’t see any swelling. If that is your attitude, why the hell in the first place, you spend so much money to get ur MBBS?? I totally despise this kind of doctor. Go home and don’t bother going in to work loh.

OK. Back to yesterday, I was nearly pick-pocketed!!!!!! At a crowded city hall!! ??? What is wrong with all these people? I was totally unaware of her until she “accidentally” pull my bag. My bag was the button type not the zip type. I was playing around with these feather fans and there she was standing super close to me, looking at a wallet directly at the opening of my bag.

Then I felt a pull, I turn to look at her. I walk away to another display seeing that it was getting crowded due to that BITCH. Again, she pulled the same trick and I turn to look at her again. This time, I shouted loudly to Guan Yi that I thought someone was trying to pick-pocket me. Then I saw this BITCH quickly walked away. Super angry, can!!!!! I cursed for about 15 mins before I can stop!!!!!!! You looked perfectly well to me, go get a job la, why steal???

P.S. To someone: Knowing too much will do u no good. Why must you be so stubborn and obstinate? Learn to let go of things. You had already know from day one it is a dog-eat-dog world. And we do get tired hearing about your complains~~

I bought 2 cardigans(1 for me, 1 for my bro), 2 tops, 1 pair of tights, and a pair of flats!!! I really cant resist shopping lei. Don’t want to go out anymore. I still owe people money. sobs.

Somemore next week got chalet… ARRRRR. Stupid. Stupid. Cannot resist is it?

Sigh. But my only pair of flats spoil already, so no choice. You can’t expect me to wear heels everywhere, yea? As for the tights, it is something I wanna buy long ago. The cardigan was too cheap to ignore. But the 2 tops is really too much lah.

I am going to clear my wardrobe and shoes rack. Too much things. Coming to a end of 2007, such a busy year for me. 2007 seems to pass in a blink of eye.

I miss my friends!!

I was laughing throughout the show. Except those touching/heart breaking parts la.

The show is really M18 la. Kids shouldn’t watch it, so much titties!!!!  Lols. And a whole lot of butts…

Nonetheless, I love the show!!!! The plot is very good except I thought Seth Rogen was a bit too gross in the movie. Katherine Heigl look totally great in the show.

The childbirth scene was as real as it can get. Umbilical cord, suctioning… etc… I just love the show too much la.

Did I say I love the childbirth scene? OMG… I wanna have my own babies.

Anyway for those who are interested, my life has been great recently. Except for this stupid exam that I am having tml, which I prepare to flunk. Cus I can’t even be bothered study.

Being good in theory doesnt really prove you can perform in the ward. So what people think you are a walking enclycopedia???

I really HATE u, nipple man!!!!! You think u are some fucking doctor, you are just a freaking nurse like us!!!!!! Only OLDER and more work experience. That make you cocky, huh?

Shit! My language is getting to be like those in Knocked up. Muhaha!

Recently I was chatting with someone, and I realised what kind of happen in the past one month. I was like kind of shock. Didn’t know things turned out that way. And I know who is the culprit and my peeps told me to stop listening to her nonsense. And avoid her too.

I thought she was kind of FON too. So persistent to make you listen to her, I truly tried my super best to avoid. But I cant escape from her evil clutches!!!! HELP ME, PLS……

My last paper for the 3 years of my nursing course on wednesday. So happy it is over. Muhaha! I am free.!!!!!! I am free!!! 

Went to TTSH recruitment talk. And fill in a application form. Think they gonna ask us to go for interview soon. I wanted to work at SGH, but got this feeling that they are not in need of nurses. Never mind, I will worry about all these things when I get my results.

Want to enjoy myself before PRCP start, which is on next monday. 6 weeks of non-stop attachment with no pay and somemore night shift. Oh gosh!

Speaking of night shift, I dunno if I should feel scared or excited. Cus there are rumours that say: When PRCP students are on 2 night shifts, something will happen on one of the night shift. I dont know if it is true. Just rumours.

Went to chalet with Fel, Serene and Ying after our exam on wednesday. I slept for like only 2 hours the night before. So tired! Edmund also came along, but didnt stay for the night. We went to NTUC to buy the food for bbq, the squid were super uber nice. with the chilli. Shitake mushroom also uber nice.

We had to start our BBQ late as it was raining. Started at 8 and ended at ten plus. After our BBQ ended, we bathed and decided to go to Fishermen Village. To think the walk from the chalet to Fishermen Village was so damn far. The road was also so freaking dark. I was so damn scared. Nearly cried. Haha! JK~

Went to buy my wallet on friday and meet up with Jasmine and Neo. After, Neo went to meet William to watch Mr Bean’s holiday.

We ended up at the Balcony’s Bar for drinks. My first time there, a tag too expensive. But I love you Lychee Martini. Nice. Will go there again soon. With Pik Pik and LPN.

 Went to Sentosa Yesterday. Will post the pics up soon. Enjoy myself there. It has been such a long time I am there with my friends. We went to try out the Skyride and Luge. It was fun. And there were lots of guavas there.

Stayed at home the whole day except to go out for lunch & dinner. Was planning to go for japanese buffet with my friends, was cancel. Some of my friends cant make it, so it is change to next week.

 Tried to study for my test next wednesday, but nothing went in. Will try harder tml. Haha!

My hormones are funny! PMS-ing. My thoughts are funny. And I think I am missing someone. No….. I am not! Cannot!

This is a restaurant in Thailand by the sea. And of cus, they sell seafood. It is cheap and you can get fresh and big oysters, fresh cockles. And everything else. It is just great! Great view & great food. Even great sevice.

The avocado train my mum ordered at Fuji’s. It is sushi…. the avocado subsitute the seaweed.

Fuji’s is a chain Japanese restaurant in Phuket. The food there is cheap and nice. And wide variety. Worth a try if u are in Phuket. Anyway It is located in Central Festival (shopping mall).

Today I discovered something new about my friend, Neo neo. (aka szemin aka ms piggy neo) Anyway, the new thing is PRACTICALLY EVERYONE WHO KNOWS HER HATES HER !!!!!

Today, PN told me that a yr 2 guy from nursing hate Neo neo!! The reason he hate Neo neo is cus she is too bossy, arrogant and treat the secondary sch students like kids. Haha~ This guy even say that Neo neo sure be a spinster… I am very sorry to inform him that she is getting married next year.

Neo neo actually think that the guy is jealous of her cus she is outstanding…. *puke*

PN met this guy when they were a team bringing the secondary sch “kids” around on Open House @ NYP. So we started talking about who hates her & blah blah blah. This Jasmine started confessing that she didnt like Neo neo at first, then slowly they become great friends. But now… they still bicker a lot!!!

Actually in the first place… practically the whole class hate Neo neo in the place. But as we get to know to her,

we really LOVE you, Neo neo!!!!!

Hey!! To all People who hate Neo neo: You are just jealous of her… & her friends!!! We just look too happy together. Stop hating her and get out of our lives. Get a life, ok? You are just too dumb!!! You are not in our league at all….

Hey! It is wednesday again. I LOVE wednesdays!! But I am down with flu today, but it is not going to stop me from being happy. Hoho!

Why I love wednesdays????

Because: I can go to orchard. School is off early. And it means half a week is gone. Yeah~

Of course I get to see him. And the most difficult ICA is over today!! We started off not knowing what to do for our presentation. keep bumping into walls. Well… we worked hard & asked tons of questions. Even miss our meals and sleep. Haha! Exaggerating, isnt it? But this is the truth loh.

But the end-product was cool lah… Lecturer and fellow classmates were shocked!! I am happy.

This morning started off a bit rough. My flu getting worse, lost my script for presentation, couldnt wake up and miss the 1st lecture. Hmph… Ms Kathleenis one of my fav. lecturers & I miss it. :’( Try my very best next week.

Went to collect my V3x today.. hmm, they only took 2 days to repair my phone. Somehow I feel that my phone like only go there for daycare.  Hope it wont give me anymore problem….

How’s my new hairstyle? Not very clear in this pix. Cus a little dark. I heard a guy on MRT telling her GF to cut the Chinadoll fringe and he is pointing at me. It is so damn loud loh! I heard him.

And I make sure he knows that I can heard his comment. Some of my friends cant recognise me today. Haha! They say I look like doll. *blush* I get them to write evidence, if no one believes…

My neighbour even ask me if I was going on a Hot date today. How I wish I had a Hot date? Szeminsay she is my hotdate!! Erm… no loh.

3. Humorous (aren’t funny guys such a charm?)
